Residential Visits
Aim High Academy Trust is committed to inspiring, supporting and enabling all pupils to aim high, believe in themselves, achieve their full potential and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life.
The vision and values of our family of schools, as a consequence, holds the importance of learning outside of the classroom very highly. Our Aim High Strategic Plan states that ‘children across their educational journey will have access to a number of extended residential trips, including international trips.’
We aim to:
- Provide parents with an overview of the residential visits we will offer in the next academic year.
- Give sufficient advance notice to enable parents to choose, plan and budget for their preferred visits for the full year ahead.
- Ensure all visits can be sustainable and well-subscribed.
- Highlight the range of visits we offer at varying costs and across the year.
- Introduce further joint Trust visits, following the success of the existing Trust ski trip to France.
- Offer a range of visits for different purposes and outcomes, for example culture, sport, outdoor & adventurous etc.
